Service Requests for University Buildings

This web page is for non-residential University work orders only. If you are in a Medical Building (except LSRC) you must call Hospital Engineering and Operatinos (E&O) @ 919-684-3232. If you have a request for a dorm or Central Campus Apartments click here.
Most services are requested through Datastream 7i, a computerized maintenance and management system that allows you to submit a customer service request and track your work order. If you would like to become a 7i user, contact Bryan Taylor. 7i users can Submit or View a Service Request.
If you are not a 7i user and would like to request a work order DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, you do so by clicking HERE. After hours and weekend requests must be called in at (919) 684-2122. In case of an emergency, dial 911.
Regular Business Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday

After Hours:
After 4:30 p.m., on weekends or holidays

After hours calls are transferred to an operator who will contact one of our 12-hour shift Mechanics, providing 24/7 coverage for the University.
Emergencies
Situations that are life threatening or likely to cause severe damage to a University building or facility must be reported to the Duke Police Department.
