Faculty and staff can kick-off National Safety Awareness Month this June with the Duke’s 4th annual Safety Fair.

Hosted by Facilities Management Department and the Occupational Environmental Safety Office, the fair features about 30 vendors offering products and information on how to create and maintain a safer work environment. The fair will take place from noon to 4 p.m. June 1 at the Washington Duke Inn.

“Our goal is to draw attention to safety in the workplace and provide attendees with an array of products from which to choose from that will enable them to work not only safer, but smarter,” said Mike Snyder, Facilities’ safety officer.

In addition to learning more about workplace safety, visitors can also get their picture taken with the number 19 Stanley-Proto NASCAR Sprint Cup series show car.
